Complaints Handling Procedure
Here at Elysium Surveyors we aim to achieve the highest quality of services for our customers. However, even we can make mistakes. Our independent complaints handling procedure described below has been put into place in order to satisfy any discontented customers and to rectify our mistakes.
Our company is regulated by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Rule 7 of the RICS regulation handbook states that: “A Firm shall operate a complaints handling procedure and maintain a complaints log. The complaints handling procedure must include a redress mechanism that is approved by the Regulatory Board.”
Therefore, as a company we are required to provide our clients with a guideline for a complaints handling procedure and contact details for a redress mechanism in case our efforts to resolve complaints are unsuccessful.
If you contact us with a complaint we will do our best to resolve the situation within 28 working days. However, all complaints are different so please note that depending on the issue it may take longer to resolve. All complaints will be taken under advisement and we will work to rectify the situation as quickly as possible. In cases that take longer than 28 days the clients will be updated on the progress of efforts to handle their issues within 28 working days of making a complaint.
How to complain

All verbal complaints must be put into writing and a version of the complaint sent to the above email address. This will ensure that we have a copy of the complaint for our records and will aid the person dealing with your complaint by having all of the information at hand. Please note that this is required even if you have already made the complaint verbally.
We will endeavour to respond to all complaints within 7 working days of receiving them. Once resolved, we will send an email providing an explanation of the actions and investigations taken to settle your complaint.
If you are still unhappy and do not feel that we handled your complaint to the best of our abilities, you may contact our Ombudsman via the following methods:
